Privacy Policy

StreamProof helps people verify that a live broadcast was authorized by its creator. We designed the service to collect only the information needed to provide it.

Information we process

When someone scans a QR code, we process the proof reference and the technical data needed to verify whether it is valid. An account is not required to verify a broadcast.

If someone chooses to follow a creator, they may sign in with Google. StreamProof receives a technical Google identifier and confirmation that the account is verified. We do not use the person’s name for this feature or display it as part of following.

Creators may provide account, profile, and channel information to manage verified sessions. Optional supporter purchases are processed through Google Play and RevenueCat; StreamProof does not receive complete payment details.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate sessions, maintain followed creators, prevent abuse, protect the service, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information or use personalized advertising in the app.

Storage and security

Communications use HTTPS. App session tokens are stored in the device’s secure storage. We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations, with access controls and expiration mechanisms.

Your choices

You can unfollow a creator in the app, sign out, and request deletion of your viewer identity and follows by contacting us. We will verify the request before deleting information that is no longer needed to provide the service.

Third-party services

StreamProof uses Google for authentication, Google Play for distribution and purchases, RevenueCat to manage supporter entitlements, and Render to host the service. Each provider processes information under its own policies.
